I was encouraged to start running by my good friend, Dave Harrah, in May 2007, and I haven’t looked back since. I have completed distances from 1 mile to an ultra-marathon, but prefer the shorter distances. As a former runner and a now seasoned race walker due to my meniscus surgery in August 2020, I am currently and routinely encouraging other people to keep moving forward for health and fitness. I helped with coaching the New Energy kids for approximately five years, starting in 2010, and I enjoyed seeing their smiling faces from the start to finish of our hour together. The Galloway Method has gotten me through my almost 14 years of running and walking. I don’t know where the rest of this journey will take me, but the road is wide open.
