John Michael was born in Virginia Beach but resides in Charlottesville the majority of the year. Along with running laps around the track, John Michael also competed on the soccer field and in the swimming pool. After high school, he went off to UVA with hopes of walking onto the varsity team. Although falling short, he has since been enjoying running more than ever as a way to keep up with friends, clear his mind during a busy day, stay in shape, and take in the scenery of wherever he may be.
